…has improved with the weather. Not too hot, not too cold, I’m enjoying longer daily trail walks, more time off leash, and more time in the water.
I’m surprised that even though I’ve lived in Bellingham for five years, there are still new places to discover. Caryn has been making an effort to find new, private little swim spots along our walks, so that I don’t get too hot (I look tough but I have a very delicate disposition when it comes to the hot weather). Speaking of water, guess who was able to come in with me for treadmill therapy this week?
The person behind the camera is….you guessed it, Caryn! And she did all the right things, like giving me plenty of moral support, in the form of cheering me on, which of course means lots of treats
Snack bar by the pool:
Add to that list getting to see old friends, and this dog’s life is certifiably terrific
This old friend even shared dinner with me
Hmmm, what else? Oh yeah, I dreamed I was a butterfly, but I weighed too much to get off the ground. Still I was happy, and Trudy got to fly low with me on the ground.
And then I dreamed I was a unicorn. I wonder what that meant
All these things may seem a bit dull to you humans, but I’m so glad to get my life back, I’ll never take friends and swimming or even just walking for granted again. Maybe dreaming about having wings and being a unicorn are about feeling free and happy again. What kind of dreams have you been having lately?
In case you’re wondering, the kittens are still here. Everybody seems to love them, so I’m trying hard to figure out who they are and why they are here.
I figure I better do that, just in case they stick around…Oh boy, what a thought…..
